ALCOHOL CHANGE AUSTRALIA

We are a group of health and community organisations from across Australia working together to prevent and reduce alcohol harm among Australian individuals, families, and communities.

OUR EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Natalie (Nat) Stapleton is the Executive Officer of Alcohol Change Australia. Nat has worked in a range of roles spanning clinical practice as a dietitian and exercise physiologist, leadership and public health programs and policy. Natalie was previously the General Manager of Policy and Advocacy at Dietitians Australia where she worked to strengthen health and nutrition policies to drive improved health and wellbeing outcomes for all Australians. Nat has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science, a Master of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics and Exercise Rehabilitation and Graduate Certificate in Public Health.

OUR EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Hannah Pierce is the Executive Officer of Alcohol Change Australia. Hannah has over 12 years’ experience working in alcohol policy in Australia, including roles at Cancer Council Western Australia and the Public Health Advocacy Institute of Western Australia. She was President of the Public Health Association of Australia WA Branch from 2017 – 2021, where she advocated for the implementation of evidence-based policies across a range of public health issues. Hannah has a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Health Law.

OUR CHAIR

Dr. Erin Lalor is the Chair of Alcohol Change Australia. Erin was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Alcohol and Drug Foundation in November 2017. Erin has over 20 years of leadership experience in the health sector, working in clinical, academic, and executive roles, and was most recently the CEO of the National Stroke Foundation and a Director of the World Stroke Organisation. She sits on a number of advisory committees in relation to public health, clinical improvements and evidence-based approaches to healthcare delivery. Erin has a strong track record in developing and strengthening organisations and brings a vast range of skills and experience to Alcohol Change Australia. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech and Hearing Science) and completed her PhD in 1997.
